I actually started a water color picture of Kaguya for Mr. Takahata's spirit to see, but I never finished it. When I saw this film, I didn't regret it at all. It's the only film that treats Heaven, or the idea of Heaven with a negative attitude, and I have a negative attitude towards such a place. This film was truly something deep, and unlike anything I've ever seen.
